Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement: professionally trained volunteers provide free pet bereavement counseling; no membership required.

DogTrekker.com: a terrific resource for dog-friendly travels throughout California.

North Bay Animal Services: the shelter offers assistance for pet adoption, lost pets, animal control as well as many valuable resources to pet owners.

UC Davis Center for Companion Animal Health: their mission is to improve the health of pets by providing financial support for academic studies into diseases affecting dogs and cats. We make a donation to the Center on behalf of the owner for each euthanized pet.
