We appreciate your assistance and patience as we work our way through the COVID outbreak. This page is not meant to provide information about the broad impact of the virus; the intention is to provide information on how the impact is affecting WSVC.
As of Thursday, March 19, 2020, we will be meeting most owners at their car to bring their pet into the clinic for appointments. Financial matters will be handled over the phone when possible. Our staff will also bring medications to the door or to your car when possible. These measures may seem unnecessary to some people but we believe they embrace the spirit of the statewide restrictions. Again, thank you for your patience and for following these protocols.

Due to developing information and guidelines surrounding the COVID outbreak, including social distancing and limiting public gatherings, Washington Square Veterinary Clinic has made some changes to our normal operation.
All elective and non-urgent appointments currently on our schedule are being rescheduled into April. If you do not have an appointment and your pet seems ill but you’re not sure if it’s urgent or not, please call us at 707-778-1011 so we can help make a determination.
Urgent visits and non-elective procedures will be seen as usual.
Whether coming in for an urgent visit, a non-elective procedure, or picking up food or medication, we ask for your assistance to keep the number of people in the lobby to a minimum. If possible, come alone and ideally call us when you arrive then wait in your vehicle until we are ready to see you. If you need to bring more people, consider leaving the others in your vehicle during the visit. This particularly pertains to the elderly and to children.
If you have an appointment and have COVID symptoms or have been knowingly exposed, please stay at home and have a healthy friend or relative bring your pet to us.
It’s likely that additional changes and requests will be made as we learn more. Please visit our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/washingtonsquarevet) for updates.
We appreciate your assistance as we do our part to reduce the COVID spread, and we thank you for doing your part, also. If we all pull together we can hopefully get back to normal as soon as possible.
